Gedor Architecture

In 1993, Gedor Architecture was established with the aim of providing all building related consultancy services in the Maldives. Commenced with just 2 architects and a civil engineer in a small room at M. Kulhavagge, Gedor soon developed into other other areas. Today, 18 years on, Gedor continues leading the Maldives in architecture, civil engineering, MEP, quantity surveying, interior architecture and project management. The homes, the resorts, the mosques, the hotels, the offices, the schools, the airports, the healthcare facilities and the warehouses created by Gedor are to be seen throughout the Maldives.

In 2005, a Gedor’s branch was set up in Manila, the Phillipines. The Manila Branch provides support in architectural, engineering and drafting services.

The latest addition to Gedor is The Building and Environmental Engineering Laboratory (BEES) in 2009. The BEES laboratory is the first private such laboratory in the Maldives. A number of building related tests and research are carried out by this laboratory.
